About The Victimology Research Centre

The Victimology Research Centre is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg People.

This research was designed and carried out by a dedicated team of academics, public servants, community organizations, and students from the Algonquin College victimology graduate certificate program. This Toolkit was designed and developed by faculty and students from the victimology graduate certificate program, the interdisciplinary studies in human-centred design graduate certificate program, and the graphic design program at Algonquin College.

We are thankful for the participants who shared their time and lived experience with our team.

This project would not have been possible without funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and the Department of Justice.
